Redcare question |

Is it possible to buy 'off the shelf' the peice of receiving kit used by BT for Redcare? If so, what is it called? Any help for a new member would be much appreciated.

Ken
The receiving kit are scanners in the local exchanges connected to 'host'
computers up and down the country and then channelled into the ARC (alarm
receiving centre). So, if you are an alarm receiving centre you could
purchase this through redcare (lots of money) and receive incoming redcare
signals from your customers.
On the other hand, if you are talking about the transmition units they are
STU's varying from an ISDN, PSTN, Broadband, etc and you can find out more
about these products if you log onto www.redcare.co.uk

Actually, not that difficult to source Kingcoop3, although Paul C was quite right to say they're expensive. All relative though... |
