DVR and security |

Hi. I think using a camera with a Digital Video Recorder seems okay. I'm
sure you can get 24 hr recording, even motion detecting with some DVR.
But of course, you only want to save and view the recording when
something nasty happens. Can you program DVR's to record 24 hrs, then,
sort of, delete that recording automatically, then automatically start
24 hr recording again? Any DVR recommendations? TIA.

Hi
You can purchase a 4 camera digital recorder with 160 Gb Hdd for £216.00
This would record 1 camera continually (depending on the frames per second)
for months.
It also has motion detection.
If you use motion detection with digital systems, you will not miss anything
because it records instantly, if you use a vcr then you loose the 1st few
seconds due to tape spooling etc.
