Average Lifespan of Integrated Circuits |
|
|
Hi all! I was wondering if there is an average lifespan for IC's? Specifically MAX478CSA. I read over the datasheets, but it doesn't say the lifespan. So, I was wondering if anyone knew? Or knew of a site that explains the lifespan, for the specifications of a certain chip or something?
Thanks!

| I don't think i can be wrong by sayng that the enviroment the device is subject to has more contributing factors then time per say. |

Yeah, it's probably a temperature thing. I'm going to do some tests to see what exactly may be causing them to go bad and go from there. But it makes sense that its a temp thing, because these cards are in the shelf for long periods of time and get pretty warm. Thanks for getting back to me on this!
