help protection circuit design |

Hi
I'm building (V I T )Data looger and i made it but have a problem in the protection circuit at the voltage measureing part the circuit measure from 0 to 2000v dc. i made them 5 ranges (0-200mv , 200mv-2v, 2v-20v ,20v-200v , 200v -2000v) and the max. output is 200mv from each range . if the user choose the wrong choice every thing will burn . so i want a protection circuit from the over range voltage .i will send the circuit digrams soon.

| Simple make outo ranging with comparators stick 2000v first and scale down to find the range |

First thanks for your replay  ,second could you please show me your idea with circuit diagram as i couldn't understand how to make the comparators to adjust auto range.and how to put 2000 volt to a compartor? soory put maybe the diagram will solve alot of my questions and thanks again.

| it seems to me that you need a lot of help. not that i am not willing to help but that means that i practicaly have to design it for you. send the schematic trough of what you got so far then someone will surely help you along. |

| there are lot of people able to help you unfortunately there are some that think that can help like hi school classes do not cut the mustard. but with a schematic more people will be able to help you along. |
