I have many projects I am contemplating/working on, and one is I
have a device on which I want to have two separate controls for. Meaning
I want the power to one circuit be the primary control source but
when the control switch from the secondary power source is turned on,
I want that to override the primary.
In a more simpler example (I hope). Take an automobile. Let's say
you trip the left turn signal and leave it on then turn on your 4 ways
(hazard lights). The 4 ways override the left turn signal even though
the left turn signal is still on. When the 4 ways are switched off, the
left turn signal resumes lighting (remember it was never turned off).
Is there a way to do this without using a three position switch ( I don't
want this for my application).
If it needs to be known, this is for a 12v dc power source.

Craig,

When you are saying controllers, do you mean mere power supplies, or do you mean different frequency or differently modulated signals? You would need seperate solutions for the respective problems.

I'm sorry. I definitely meant the power supply and nothing special.
