I have a Zenith System 3, serial # 522-06030132 and it works great except for the gray tint problems. The picture shows fine but there is a grayish tint. i want to keep the TV it's a great Tv. My brother died and he gave it to me and if I can fix I want to.

The purity of the TV needs adjustment layman cannot do it you need gear to do that. there are rings in the back of the TV pluss some pots that you can vary. i recomend you do not the problem can and porbaly will become worst. and see if the degausing coil around the TV works when you turn on the TV the circuit builds and colapses everytime on off

Anything can be fixed. The question is IS IT WORTH IT?
you are the one that must make that decision. I don't know with new HD and flat TV it is not worth it.
