stuck disc in pioneer DV_355 DVD player about 2002AD |

when disc inserted, screen stuck on 'loading' and when power switched off and on same happens.
took cover off disc has some scratches in one quadrant radiating out from centre.
Could some kind person advise what I need to do now? other than dropping in to repairman which wd prob cost more than the thing is worth?

| Not all of the devices have a hole somewhere whereby by inserting a paper clip will open up or try to open up a stuck disk. good luck |

| i suspect this is a mechanical mi aligment of ejection how can you solve it remove power and try to figure out the mechanism to open close. |
