Hello,

My final year project is to design a UPS for a computer. The input from the battery to the inverter is 12V and the output of the inverter, and hence of the UPS, is to be 230 V at 50 Hz. Does anyone have any idea or schemes of an inverter so that to produce a sine-waveform output ?

Thank you in advance Laughing

to produce a pure sine wave output you need a rotary machine i am afraid. don't despair there are ways to make look like a sine wave. but for your application there is realy no need.
