Kenwood mini stereo model:KR-595,year:1996 (guessing),as soon as power
button is pressed it displays the display but shuts off again,the
output transistors are not shorted and basic resistance check of some
parts reveal no faulty parts.Anyone have any common repair
tips?.Thanks.

first than nothing hi!!!
well it seems i got the same problem my kr 595 reciver has this malfuntion..
ok first i power it on and the the EQ that i conected to the 125v output of the reciver turns on but the reciver still marks STAND BY on the red led continues on i have no sound... and non display funcion...
if its the same problem and you have solved it.. please help me out or give me some advise of what to do....please...
the only problem that could cause this... that a can imagine was a sudently power down and up of the 120v house electrical line.
