Hi Joe, bundle peak that looks pretty good. I've been searching
and found the tecpel lcr-612, the inductance is down to 0.1uH,
good for tinkering rf circuits. It's a bit more than what I
want to spend. I hope the price will come down for x-mas.
thanks |

Brief commercial note:
I have a bunch of new LC meters (no R).
Resolution is 1uH/1pF, which might be a bit coarse for your RF.
2/20/300mH/2H/20H, 2nF/20nF/200nF/200uF
http://www.trexon.com/lcmeter.jpg
http://www.trexon.com/LCmeter_manual.pdf
About half your target price, including US shipping.
Best regards,

I think that the Extech 380193 sold in the US by Allied,
is the same as the TecPel lcd-612. They both look exactly the same.
Can anyone confirm that they are the same meter? |

I have some rf inductors that should be .68uH ?
The TecPel can measure 0.1 uH. I read the Extech man and it says 2000uH ?
There should be a min and max , and I can't tell from the Extech man.
thanks |

Resolution, I assume.

If it's 3-1/2 digits, then 1999 full scale => 1uH resolution.

You could always get something like this:
http://cp.literature.agilent.com/litweb/pdf/5963-5395E.pdf
But it's a mite more expensive than the target range, and at 16kg, not
handheld for very long.
