try radio shack or any computer magazines or websites... ur guessing its serial port but that doesnt help me much... also try to find whatever that came off of and look up replacement parts for that product

Judging from the 16 pins and the placement of the caps, it looks like a 232 to TTL converter with just the transmit being used

I have many of them
