The cable or pad I'm looking for would be found in items like electric blankets or heat pads used in reptile tanks. It will be used to keep warm an item contained in a hard case while in a vehicle.

Thanks again,

Jeff

Ha now we are getting some where. Well i have an aquarium heater for my fishes now it heats controls water temp. Now snakes do not live in water but I am wonderind why can't you use that heater $5.00 and convert into an air eater or just put some water into a zip bag and bury into the sand with the heater inside. There are also GE lamps [QUARTZ] heaters that actualy do not heat the air but just the subject if exposed. They come in 100-500 wats since they are resistance in nature a lamp dimmer can be used to control the temp.Of course there is light associated that that scheme depends on the setting. There are 3 way to heat up things RADIATION CONDUCTION and conventional. radiation is lamps.
