Well, I was repairing a miter saw and did so, but in the process I broke the leads off of the one resistor in the tool. This is a cordless tool which runs off an 18volt 1700mah battery.

I am having a heck of a time finding a new one with the exact specs so I was asking if anyone 1) knew where I could find one or 2) can tell me if there is a replacement I could use.

I believe it is whats known as a wirewound resistor in ceramic. Looks like a white rectangular block. On the resistor reads [ 15 W 1.2 (Ohm symbol) J ]

I have been able to locate 15 Watt 1.0 Ohm and 15 Watt 1.5 Ohm, but not 1.2 Ohm. Also, I have found 25Watt 1.2 Ohm and 10 Watt 1.2 Ohm.

Thanks for reading.
