Q: Sony GDM-500PST monitor problem |

I'm getting one of these, where the picture rotates horizontally like a
figure eight.
Is it the CXA2043Q and what else should I check first?

Check for defects in the deflection amplifiers, including the deflection
yoke.

I forgot to say, if the picture is wobbling, check the degaussing
circuit. If it is not moving, then refer to the suggestion in the
previous message to start with.
