You have to be more specific. The fact that our resident troll keeps
"munging" his name/address means you'll still see his posts. He mentioned
once that he was only interested in informing "newbies" of his "issues" with
wireless systems but the fact that he keeps changing his address proves his
intentions are a good deal more malicious. You can't "block" RFI's messages
in this forum unless you're using a more sophisticated newsreader than
Outlook. He's pretty easy to ignore though. My email servers use a more
sophisticated spam blocker and before I engaged them I used to be flooded
with emails from him (complaining to his ISP proved useless). Unfortunately
if you're trying to contact me and you also happen to use "skynet.be" you're
SOL... I understand that they've tightened the privacy laws in Belgium
considerably lately. Perhaps filing a new complaint with his ISP and
invoking specific articles in the new law will have some effect.

You mean Outlook Express, Outlook does not have a newsreader. I
noticed you are using the same, when will you switch to Agent (the
premier reader)? |

If your news client supports it, block on Path: header containing
skynet.be
If you run your own newsserver, you can normally block skynet.be
by having your upstream add it as an alternate name for you, so
it thinks you must have already seen the article and doesn't
stream it to you.
If you can't block him, please don't respond though -- otherwise
those who do block him will likely see his rants, unless we block
you too.

Not in Usenet.... Just his emails... I've noticed he's switched providers
too... :-)) |
