Never seen a semiconductor manufacturer forwarding direct product
related technical questions to a local sales guy at a distributor!!

After that only bloody silence....

Is it just me or is this company really a PITA???

My last experience with Broadcom was when they made every member of my
lab sign an NDA before they would release us the data sheet for a
commercially available Ethernet transciever they sold.

Hence, this was my _last_ experience with Broadcom.

Had to completely re-design a CompactPCI system controller three or

four years ago when Broadcom decided they didn't want to enter into a
NDA with us. We wanted to use their chip for Gigabit Ethernet over
CAT-5 wiring. We said fuck-em and went with small-form-factor fiber.
