Replacment bridge rectifier |
|
|
Hi all, could anyone suggest suitable replacement for a BR102 bridge
rectifier? Needs to be 10A at least and handle 200v. In case anyone is
wondering, it came out of a Marshall guitar amp. Seems it melted the solder
joints and itself, perhaps not a high enough rating?
Any advice appreciated,
Simon

You want to get one with a high LZR (Led Zepplin Rating) ;)
But seriously folks... look here

looks to be still available.

Look for damage to the electrolytic capacitors that it (presumably) feeds
into.

No, it'll be a downstream short - electrolytic caps or o/p transistors.
Any general purpose bridge rectifier will do if rated at or above
original specs. Check RSComp, Farnell, Maplin etc.

Ok, thanks. Looks good enough, but where the hell can I get one in the UK?
Maplin and RS don't have them.
I'm stumped.

Ah! Thanks. Will check Maplin and others and find some data on their
products. Cheers! |
