The power and all led lights on the front are steady but nothing at all on the screen, any ideas please?

To follow up, I have read some articles on LCD Monitor repairs and what I gather is that it can only be either of 2 things, either the inverter board is bad or the bulb is blown, can this be correct? If so, how can I tell which of the 2 is the problem without having to purchase those parts first to replace and test?

I am afraid there are three source of color RGB red green blue one source will just kill one color not all of them. basicly i think the device is bad to what extent i have no idea. if the power supply fail internaly it will show up as no lights. so that is my bet.
