Hi I am new here.
I need some help with motion control; currently I am programming the PIC18f4520 microcontroller connected with the LM629 motion controller and the L298 driver.
How do I vary the speed of a motor? Because there are two output pins of the LM629 giving the PWM magnitude and PWM sign.
I feed in the PWM mag into the enable pin of L298 and the PWM sign to transistors(switches) to both input pins of L298.
However does changing the voltage level of the enable pin change the speed of the motor? The PWM sign to the input pins vary the direction but does also vary the SPEED through the duty cycle?
This part here I am quite unsure.
Someone enlighten me please thanks very much.

haha its ok.
any idea abt lm629 and motion control?
what i think is that the speed and direction are controlled by the input pins not the enable pin right
