Hi mates
i have an old wireless FM microphone, very old but it's range is about 100 meters, it is working with 2 AA batteries
i want to convert it to use it as an mp3 player transmitter
should i just connect the mp3 instead of the microphone ? will it work ? or it doesn't worth the try ??
i can take photos for the mic if hat may help.

The FM Mic is not stereo!
You will have to turn down the MP3 volume very very low.
It should work.

mp3 left------10k resistor--
mp3 right----10k resistor---------FM Mic
ground--------1k resistor--

Sorry I can not draw a schematic today.
Use two 10k resistors one on each output of the mp3 player.
One 1K resistor to ground.
Tie all three resistors together at the FM transmitter input.
This will sum L & R and reduce the volume.

oops i forgot about the stereo issue !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

isn't it danger to tie the right and left and ground resistors, it will damage the mp3 player.
and the input should be 2 wires (R+L) and ground ! so it is not a good idea to tie the ground with the other wires !!

L is added to R and devided down to try to get near mic level.
No damage to mp3 player.
