Designing 24 Hour clock |
|
|
Hi there ,
I'm trying to design a circuit of 24 Hour clock using the 7490 IC counter to produce suitable outputs for SECONDS , MINUTES & HOURS. Considering ONE Pulse per second input available.
Would you please help me to design this circuit ???
I'm waiting guys , so don't let me to wait so long

| Unconsidering one pulse per second. U better consider the clock first then consider buying it . China makes those things battery operated for a dollar. As a hoby go for it but it is inpractical 7490 try at least CMOS. |

| then go for it. but in case you haven' t check current events you don't pick the counter before you pick your application. how are u going to count grey code i imagine. good luck. |

I would suggest using a 7492 for the tens of both the seconds and minutes. these counters can count to six ( 0 thru 5 ) when only the first three outputs are used. This would simplify your design greatly. _________________ Retired Guy |
