help lol does any one know when makeing your coils for a alternator. does the shape of the coil matter ? can i take a large washer about 12 inches in diameter with a ten inch hole . like a big donut . if i was to rap my wire around the two inch rim witch makeing two inch coils all around this donut or large washer would that be the same as makeing coils. so the magnets going around the donut shape would the produse electric or should i stay with the coils laying on this donut shaped metal

nobody answer you so i am giving A try. there coils that you can purchse and it would be a lot cheaper then biulding it. but if you must then yes a washer will work the problem i don't see how can you predict the final product. how many pound can it hold the attraction is exponential. so give a try experiment.[img][/img]
