I want to design a circuit that will give me a +15v/-15v dc output from a transformer.
I do not understand the concept of + and - voltage rails. I do need this to repair a preamp.
Could anyone please tell me how to do it. I would be most grateful. Question

You can refer to the schematics on how to design a positive and a negative DC power supply from the following site.
