I have a RCA F3667 ET tv that has given out. If i go to turn it on it goes on-off-on-off-on-off. yoy hear a rely or some thing clicking inside. It started doing it a couple aof weeks ago, but would come on after a few trys. now it will just click. I also noticed some static in my audio equiptment when changing chanels around the same time. i am a novice to electronics, but am comfortable replacing componants or boards or soldering, as long as i can find ouy what to replace. any help would be apprecietated

well i asume old capacitors failing and by clicking i can image your hi voltage starting and dying. tv can be dangerous to work with even if the main are down. so be very carefull where you put your hands on at least get a screwdriver and discharge the tube cap.

i am not familiar with that chasis as you mentioned however i thing usualy is the power supply that give out mainly capacitors they get old leak and puff allmost shorts. i would not on-off again not until you open it up and look carefully for obvious damage. if you find it repair it if you cannot find it forget it go to a repair shop
