I need help I have a 60 gig Maxtor harddrive and recently it quit working on me. This is an unfortunate thing as I had tons of documents and programs that I had written stored on it.

Is there any way of extracting the data from this drive.
It acts like there is no power to it Question

If there are any Idea out there please let me know.

thanks

I AGREE WITH THE CD OR DVD DRIVE BACKUP NOW HE KNOWS THAT HE CAN RECOVER HIS H/D IS IT WORTH IT I DON'T THINK SO. THE DATA CAN BE VALUED THAT HE DID NOT BACK IT UP BEFORE. A NEW DRIVE COST OF 300 GIGA COST LESS THE THE RETRIVAL COST.
