I'm am building a LED light bar for under my sport bike (12 volt system) and wanting to know what voltage regulator would be good for the 5MM super bright LEDs (Linrose B4304H96-5PK Blue T1-3/4 Super Brite LED - Outpost #: 4309305).

Also would like to get some info on how to understand the workings of them (ie. what prong is for what and understanding how to tell what kind of voltage drop you can get out of them)

if you have the parts #### look up the specs and put them in series you don't need a regulator what for every LED is different a lttle bit in voltage drop and more current means more lumens if you are not too anbisious you might get away without a limiting resistor. current runs the LEDS not voltage but you need a minimumn voltage just to light them up.

I got some help at Fry's Electronics and the ones I was looking at could run at 12v with a 680 ohm resistor. I put them in series with the resistor on the pos side and they are working great just need to find a brighter one or more then likely I'm just going to add 4 more to the series. T/y for the info though.
