I am having problems ID'ing an HP(AG)6032A power supply with
GPIB commands. The supply starts out responding to *IDN? like
it should but then something happens that causes it to quit
responding to that and to start responding to ID? instead.

This screws up the hp6xxxa driver since it is looking for this
model to ID itself with the *IDN? command.

Does anyone know what I might have done to cause this? It
has happen on two supplies and *RST doesn't change it back.

Thanks,

-Steve

I figured it out... if the System Language is set to COMP the
device responds to ID? and if the language is set to TMSL it
responds to *IDN?.
