GSM operator roaming specification |

Hi,
Could some one provide me the document or link to it, which is the
standard specification for implementing GSM operator roaming, is the
standard published by gsmworld association (gsmworld.com), i have
searched for the document in their web but invain. The documents
section on their web is http://www.gsmworld.com/documents/index.shtml

Well, I'd assume the roaming is done based on the numbers.
Your network detects the presence of mobile devicesa nd their
willingness to communicate. Your network then looks up the origin of
these numbers, or rather their billing place. After getting the
billing place to acknowledge their existence plus the willingness
to pay for them, provided your network has some agreement, your
network routes the calls.
Thus I tend to think the routing to be more of a legal problem
that a technical one.
