Hi!
I have a Philips 25F800 7583 that has a yoke that sounds like water boiling
and it gets real loud after it is on for a while. Anyone have any ideads?
Thank you,
Vince.

Replace the yoke.
The other attempt is to pull the yoke out of the set, make sure you
mark exactly where it was in the set (not on the yoke). Get the
electronics grade laquer and completely dip the yoke in the laquer, let
i soak in the laquer for an hour or so (but not the leads and connector
that goes into the board), let it dry a few days (or weeks) and repeat
the process.

Silicone generally does not get into all the internal structures enough
to dry in place.
