To All, After reading here for awhile and googling how to repair remote
controls, I fixed mine.
I opened the remote, removed the rubber key pad and washed it in soap and
water. It was very greasy. I then tried the buttons,, no help. I then
cleaned the buttons with alcohol, but it still didn't help. I then put a
little drop of RTV black on the dead buttons. I topped it off with a little
circle of tin foil. I put it all back together and pressed all the buttons
for good measure. The next day, it worked great!!!!
Just given back a little.
