The local Fox TV affiliate's talking head made the following
statement:

They are bringing the suspect in. I don't know if he's dead or alive,
but they have arrested him. ???

Who would arrest a dead body?

But what miffed me most was that the ABC evening news reported the
situation as if "W" had lied about the costs... true news management
in action :-(

The first I heard about this was on NPR, their report included the math
showing how it worked out. They also "implied" that the folk in congress
didn't understand the costs of the bill when they voted it in and that now
there will have to be changes. Others may suggest that they said "now
that we got re-elected ..." but I will not.

The thing that bugged me today on the news:

New 10-year figures for prescription aid to seniors were released
today (IIRC), $750B

Previously released number two years ago was $450B

Of course the DemonCrats were all up in arms, but it was quickly
determined (and reported on Fox News) that previous TEN-YEAR figures
were start-up conditions, and included two years of NO benefits.
Current figures include benefits every year with increasing benefits
as you go further out in time.

A number of rational DemonCrats backed off on their complaints... of
course jerk-off Kennedy did not... just scream, scream, scream...

But what miffed me most was that the ABC evening news reported the
situation as if "W" had lied about the costs... true news management
in action :-(
