There is an urgent and compelling need to document the numerous
advantages of magnetic tomcats.

Obviously, they will point north when you pick them up by the tail.
And they can be conveniently stored on the side of the refrigerator.

What other advantages can you think of?

They can piss around corners, due to the ionic nature of urine and its
motion through the magnetic field surrounding the cat.

And of course it is a brilliant example of animal magnetism :)

An ideal accessory for the workshop - encourage them to run around the
floor to pick up dropped screws etc.

Did you know the word "gullible" does ---> not <--- appear in any major

Or that it is one of Google's 42 banned search terms?

Yah, right. You can pick up a cat by the tail and live to tell about it.
Maybe, but I kinda f***ing doubt it.

Wrap magnet wire around the cat's collar, like a toroidal transformer.
Attach an Elizabethan collar to the regular collar. Put audio into the
magnet wire and you have a speaker that you could probably sell for a
lot of money to some audiophile.

Install a cat-flap in your back door, with a coil of wire wound around
the perimeter. The more the cat goes in and out, the more electricity
it makes. Hook the coil up to the grid; spin the meter backwards and
profit!

If you can train the cat to fall asleep correctly on top of your old TV
set, you have a quick fix for any purity or convergence problems the TV
set has developed in its old age.

If the cat likes to crawl up on your bed when you're trying to sleep,
get an electric blanket. With proper use of the thermostat, you should
be able to levitate the cat right off the bed.

If you also own two electric eels, the cat can be carefully placed to
help extinguish any arcs that form between the eels.

Yah, right. You can pick up a cat by the tail and live to tell about it.

I just recently spent 2.5 days in hospital after being bitten by a cat.

Being NZ the hospital was of course *FREE* even though I stayed 2
nights, had several edible meals and a dozen shots of IV antibiotic.
