Other Mitsubishi VS-4507R question |
|
|
How many crosshair adjustments are there.
When I push the test button on the TV I get a red vertical and
horizontal and a blue vertical and horizontal. Is there supposed to be
a set in green also?
Thanks
Peter

Something's wrong with the green picture tube, it's a bias problem that can
be adjusted," it's a control on the crt board that's connected to the back
of the green tube" or a bad tube or some other problem where the green color
is not getting through.

I think the green is getting through because the colors on the screen
are not bad, there is just no green adjustment on the crosshair
screen.
Also the shadow or halo that dark objects have in front of a light
background is worse when the TV is just turned on, after about half an
hour run time it is better still there but instead of three to four
shadows/halos there is only one visible.

Try turning down the brightness or contrast.

There is no green adjustment. Green geometry is adjusted using the on board
control pots for heighth, width, etc, and then red and blue are adjusted to
match. A crosshatch generator is required to properly adjust, but an onscreen
guide (such as used by cable co's, sat co's, etc) can be used in a pinch. |
