If I have black-colored desktop wallpaper and I change its color to
white, or even bright-white - so my question is:
Will the monitor consume more electricity after the change of color?
Any help will be appreciated

A CRT old fation tube will consume more power, theoretically, in practice I
doubth is a measurable quantity.

A lap top screen has a back light always on, black stop the light from
coming out, white let it all out. No difference in power.
