Hello,

I'm a teaching assistant in a mexican university and I have been
assigned the task to came up with several projects for the students
that are taking the instrumentation lab. Pretty much I have run out
of ideas so I decided to do some googleing to get some fresh problems
situations, so far I have found only two situations that can be
adapted for academic purposes the bottling problem
(http://www.plcdrives.com/viewtopic.php?t=30886)
and the oil problem posted in
http://www.plcdrives.com/about25961.html&highlight=measuring+problems

I have searched for more of this kind of problems but I haven’t been
lucky, would you like to contribute for this task? Any experiences,
problems you have faced, etc would be appreciated. The students this
is going to just have met the transistors, some of them have used
TTL, and all of them have used Wheatstone bridges, incremental &
absolute encoders, photoelectric and ultrasonic sensors, reed and
limit switches, foil gauges, RTD, thermistors, thermocouples, flow
and pressure meters as well as inductive and capacitive sensors.

Well I hope you can share with me some of yours experiences, thanks

Juan Fuentes
