I just bought a used OS-7020 oscilloscope. Its a dual channel scope, but channel 1 doesn't work. Sad There's no trace displayed at all for channel 1. Channel 2 appears to be fine. It's not user error. So, I'm looking for ideas on what it could be. I don't know the internal workings of o-scopes well enough. I think the crt has to be a dual-gun tube. Is that right? Question Could it be a bad gun in the tube? That's what worries me the most as it may not be available. The electronics are nicely layed out and all pots are nicely labeled. If its a bad component, it may not be hard to fix.

Question Do you have any info on Goldstar? Question Did they make a service manual? Question Who repairs and calibrates them in the US (Washington State)?

Thanks, Sam
