Alarm programming damage.. |
|
|
Can you damage your alarm system by (re)programming it ?
NO.
The manufacturer does programming of the alarm system and you can't
alter it, its proprietary burned-in software.
The so "pompous" called
- Programming by professionals is in fact nothing else than
- The "setup" possibility designed in by the manufacturer in
hiss operating program.
A few examples:
The setup:
- of entry and exit time delay value;
- to allow "all" sensor or "partial" sensors selection for automated
or not manual night operation;
- the "time" at which you like to have automated night alarm on,
+++
can easily be changed and adjusted initially or afterwards to your
satisfaction (without so called pro intervention) provided you have
the required "system access code" and concerned documentation of your
system.
The most difficult part, when you modify or initiate the setup of
your system is to know what you like to have and how it shall behave.
The setup procedure allows:
- To initiate/modify manufacturer allowed switches, sensor or values..
You can't damage the alarm system operation itself.
- You may/can only put in wrong values but those can be changed over
and over again till satisfactory operation.
NOTE:
Don't expect that, when you don't provide "your setup" criteria's
to a professional installers, that your alarm system will work
like you dream of..
