Does anybody know of a system which will allow up to 1000 12v transmitters
to send a coded signal (on alarm activation) up to 1Km to a PC based
receiver?

Any help gratefully received.

Dave

Try http://www.scope-uk.com/

If they don't have a product they might be able to
recommend someone.

Does depend on how much you want to pay. There are GSM mobile based units

for around £40 each, needing a PAYG sim and some credit. They send a text
message on activation and the sending number identifies them. Advantage that
they will work over any distance. It's quite easy to set up a single, web
based receiving number or just use a GSM modem on the PC.
