Standard SMT LDO 3.3V Voltage Regulator package? |
|
|
Hi,
I've been spending loads of time trying to find a suitable 3.3V regulator
for a new design. Requirements are: +3.3V nominal (no great accuracy), min
100mA, 1.5V max dropout, surface mount, low cost (25 cents at 1k quantity or
near).
There are loads around but each one I've found comes in a different package
or pinout. I want to find a package and pinout that is common across
multiple manufacturers (just like the 7805 is for 5V (leaded though I
know)).
Is there a common surface mount package available to those pretty open specs
that is made by multiple manufacturers?
Many thanks.

I would think TO-252. |

Many thanks. Do you have an example in mind? I'm trying to find a standard
pinout too (every possible pin configuration seems to get used for some
reason!)
