flux damaged solder tip?

flux damaged solder tip?

Im a bit concerned that I damaged my new tip with fluxite - I dipped it in
for 10 seconds and it came out looking a bit 'burnt'. Is flux dangerous for
the lead coated tip? Have I done damage?

Nope; clean it off.
