I recently acquired a Tek 422 Oscilloscope with an AC supply
(016-0072-00). The circuit board is lacking transistors at sockets
Q653, Q654, Q634, Q633, and Q625. I have found a downloadable manual
for the AC/DC supply but not for the plain AC that I have. (The 422
manual does not seem to include the supply.) Does anyone know of a
downloadable schematic or manual. If not, I would be grateful to know
what transistors are used in these five sockets.

Thanks!

Dave

Have you had any luck finding manuals for the AC power supply?
I too have a Tek 422 with the same AC (016-0072-00) power supply.
Here's what I found for you.

Q653 and Q654 are labeled with the Motorola logo and "151-103 944".
Q634 and Q624 are labled "151-151 6932".
Q633 is labeled with the Motorola logo and " 151-103 936".
Note that you asked re Q625, whereas I don't see that transistor on my PS.,
but I do see a Q624, which I've given you the number for above.

We both need the power supply manual.
Using the Tek 422 manual that is available at http://bama.sbc.edu/ , I can
see that my -12VDC output is unfortunately at +6VDC.

Any Tek 422 experts out there with experience/manuals/tips on this problem?
Even digital photos of relevant sections of the power supply manual would
help here!

Got 2 separate manuals for the tek 422. one covers the AC power supply, the
other does AC/DC. One covers up to like 10,000 in serial number, the other
goes from there to about 20,000 or more. Can double check to make sure the
manual is for "your" scope. Both are in like real good to like new
condition. E-mail if interested.

TEK now uses 151-0151-00 and 151-0103-00 for those two part numbers.
The old format was 151-xxx,is now 151-0xxx-00.
