I have looked everywhere for replacement boards for my Sony LCD monitor.
It took awhile but I found a service manual for it.
I want to fix it but can't find parts. Does anyone know where a consumer could find parts. (Sony only sells internal parts to dealers.)

Secondly, anyone have problems with the Sony SDM-HS74P just going black? Mine just quit working. The power light stays green. Even when it's unplugged from the computer. I can turn it off. Then turn it on, and it will flash and go black.

by the way. Why is noone selling Sony monitors anymore? I went to 8 retail sites. And noone carried Sony?

i imagine it is a PC monitor if that is the case it may not be the monitor but your graphic card inside your computer. if you have acess to a graphic card try it see if it cure your problem. to buy a new graphic i will not try it too expensive . take to a PC reair and see if they can try it for you, or try an old monitor and see if it getsgood with your card. process of elimination. AT FRY'S you can buy the card and return it withing 30 days just to try.
