hello im looking for a ac on off switch relay that is dc operated that doesn't require constant dc current to keep it in one position. does anyone know if that's possible?

Home depot sells such a device $50.00 it is RF operation or remote AC sitch it runs with 9v dc and last as long as a year until a new 9v is required great for controlling ac while in a hot tub.

is that what your on about???

im not looking for something like that im looking for a component i think its called a latch relay switch that can switch ac that is powered by dc i suppose what im after is in side that switch but wanted to know of a supplier so i could take a look at the different specs they come in..

A latch relay is just that it will latch and stay latched until next control voltage is applied. These devices are low voltage low current type.I have no idea of your requirements so keep on looking.
