PLease Help with Surface-mount Capacitor Specification!!! |
|
|
I have looked everywhere to find the specification for these two capacitors please please help me!
I am trying to fix a digital camera that I let a friend barrow and he charged it with the wrong polarity, it fried two of the caps.
I need to fix it really bad because I barrowed it from my brother and I have to give it back soon!!!!
The capacitors are as follows
They are both black with a white stripe on the left side and they have 100 above 6Y on one and 100 above 6Z on the other. If you can please help I would really appreciate it. Thanks

The black with the white stripe on the side, is most likely Vishay/Sprague. I went on to the Mouser website and went to their manufacturers list, found Vishay/Sprague, and typed in 100 6Y in the search for Vishay/Sprague products and it came up, but they have none in stock. And of course there was no Data Sheet for that cap either. But, you could probably request one from Vishay/Sprague or a Vishay/Sprague Distributor.
You can find a list of distributors at this website.

I hope you find them!!
