If anyone has a green CRT for 61" Toshiba RPTV (61A61), I would like to
buy it. Mine is busted and the new one costs around $250. I am hoping
someone here has a used one that I can buy at a lower price.
Thanks

You might run into two major problems. One is just why is the tube
busted ? I've seen where the HV goes nuts and causes this. It's kinda
rare but it does happen. On a Toshiba you should be able to pull the
anode lead and CRT socket and run it with just the red and blue. Also
take a good look at the yoke, it might be burnt.

Also, the main problem with a used one is if the burn pattern in the
phosphor is smaller than the raster you'll need to converge it, you'll
have bands of brighter green at the sides and/or top/bottom.If you can
get one from exactly the same model, get it with the yoke and don't
adjust the centering rings. Align your other two tubes to it. I'f it's
off center you'll have to use shims to bring it in.

VDC might be cheaper than $250 for one of those tubes, not sure, but no
matter what you do make sure it doesn't have a high voltage fault that
is causing the tube to break.
