Hi all.... the trunk mounted Kenwood CD changer in my car has recently
stopped working....power is getting to the unit and it is selecting CD's,
but it will not read any CD in the changer. After cycling through all 10
trays, "No Disc" appears on my stereo head unit. I'm guessing the laser may
be at fault.... any ideas?
Cheers,
Dave

Yep, that sure enough sounds like a dead read laser. For crosscheck have
some change CD's while you listen to it. If you hear it spin up and down
the laser is dead. i have had a few CD players an recorders fail that way.

Thanks for that Joseph...that was exactly what I didn't want to hear lol! Do
you know if it would be cost effective to attempt a repair or should I cut
my losses and buy a new unit?
Thanks again.
