Humans are nuts, alltogether: All germans are either Nazi's ( even 60 years
ago not really correct ) or wear leatherpants ( incorrect everywhere
outside some touristinc centres in the utost south of germany ), all muslim
woman go with a piece of cloth ( lacking the word for it in english )
around their head ( valid only in those islamic countries where centuries
ago slaves had to have their heads uncovered to be more easily
distinguishable from the free people, so where wearing something on the
head is a social MUST to show one is a free and open minded person ),
Christs eating only pig-flesh ( Hey, we got vegetarians nowaday ;) ),
non-monoteistic religions being non-believers ( Well, they believe just in
something different ) , politicans being untrustworthy ( many are ) or are
always 100% right ( none is ), weapons are good / bad ( hey, when you use a
rifle to shoot an animal that attacks you its ok.. but when you were so
stupid to go where you could expect a dangerous animal, it was stupid ),
furcoats are being nice ( Well.. imagine yourself getting skinned alive )
or furcoats being absolutely damnable ( Well, when you ever been to the
northpole you will soon find out that most high-tech-fabrics are plain
lousy compared to a single good dress made of thick fur.. But tell: Do You
live at the northpole? )....
Humans are that way.
So, don't try to change the world, see, it will not care about you. But when
you care for your own small world, it might inspire others, and then you
might succeed.
This my dad always told me.

As for us east coast-ers seemingly being unable to tell time, that's a
myth. We can tell time; we just expect everyone else to be on eastern
time too. ;-) (Not unlike the typical American expectation that
*everyone* on this planet speak American english)

E-mailing them, but I find that hard to believe, since I see
photo-editing software is available (as is a USB cable).
Anyone know about such things? (Me, I use a ten year old Motorola
flip phone, I don't need any fancy shit :)
Frankly, anybody who's that wedded to the telephone really needs to get a
life beyond talking to other people who have nothing better to do than
talk on the phone 24/7.
But, Thompson is as Thompson does.
Pig Bladder IS, uh, well, what can you say, ignorant is the only word
that comes to mind.
I have an ancient 75 minute plan with no roaming or LD charges that I
refuse to let them "upgrade" me from.
I never go over 75 minutes, my wife very rarely does.
Considering that I live in a desert I consider a cell phone a safety
item, just like a tire jack.
I've even taken to NOT forwarding my land line when I go to lunch...
east coast clients seem totally incapable of telling time ;-)

Hi Jim, |
I guess I am even more of a primitive...
My wife and I each have 20 minute (yes, that is twenty minutes per
MONTH) plans, and we don't intend to change. We don't use them that
much, and we only go over about twice a year. Since these are such
minimal plans, if we were to ever go to another provider, it would cost
us twice as much (we presently only pay $32 per month) just to keep even.
The only problem is that my cell phone battery is getting bad. It sits
in the car all day, and the heat in there cooks them. I could use a new
phone, but they want too much for a 'free' phone! I might just have to
break down and buy a replacement battery or something... 8-)

My wife was told she would have to subscribe to an extra cost service
so she could E-mail her photographs, since they couldn't be removed
from the phone in any other way.
Which turns out to be nonsense, see... http://www.susteen.com/

Oh, ok...... thanks... I thought maybe there was something of detrimental
value I should know about, like a hazard not told to me at time of purchase
or something. I had figured out within 15 minutes of owning the phone - how
to delete pictures - as I was figuring out all the settings and such. There
is a "CD" with it to show usage and such. I haven't gotten around to
watching it yet. I did glance at the book a time or two to find things I
couldn't find on my own. Usually, I'm pretty good with out all the
instructions. Some ass hole probably just wanted more commission.

In a way, I suppose witchcraft is un-Christian. It appears that the the
poor saps may just have been the victims of eating ergot-infected rye

Actually there were no Wicca's (witches in Christian speak) in
Salem. They didn't come to America till much later.
