Hi,
I have serveral 8042/8242pc keyboard controller chips that I have
collected from different Pc boards and I would like to use one of them
on a little micro project that I am working on. does anybody know where
a can find a circuit diagram that uses this chip. I have found the
intel datasheet on the chip but this does notgivethe pin outs or wiring
that would have been used on the boards.

For the cost (in time) to figure this out, you could be running any
number of chips already.

Whats the point ???

PS: I have some 12AK7s available !!

Unless they have a window in the top, they're not reprogrammable.
Finding reprogrammable ones in a keyboard is very rare.
And even if they are, you still have to find software and a programmer.
And someone to help.

You can get free samples of most any current chip.
Save yourself the hassle and learn a skill that you can use on current
technology.
